Welcome to Capers’ Danes website, Located Bristol, Florida on 15 acres, where there is room to roam and play. We strive to produce healthy and beautiful Great Danes. My family and I raise AKC-registered Great Dane puppies with love and care in our rural Florida location. Our Great Danes live inside with us, but go outside to romp in our fields and woods. Capers’ Danes is not a frequently breeding kennel. We breed for ourselves as well as those who come to us for a Capers’ Dane. When planning a litter, we emphasize good temperament, health, athleticism and beautiful Great Danes. The Great Dane must be spirited, courageous, always friendly and dependable, and never timid or aggressive.
Great Danes make great pets. They are happiest when they are with you. Great Danes are friendly and personable and make a great addition to a family. My children have grown up with these dogs, and it continually amazes me how tolerant a Great Dane can be. They are truly the “Gentle Giants”!
Great Danes are big dogs, and need lots of fresh air and exercise. Our dogs are lucky, since they have a lot of room in which to play and friends to play with. A large home is not a necessity, many consider these giants apartment dogs as they are quite adept to curling up on a couch cushion. A Great Dane who is an "only" dog can greatly benefit by visiting a dog park or pet play group. Happy, well adjusted puppies come from happy, well adjusted parents. There is never a house too small for the giant love they give!
